It's starting to really heat up around here, so I thought this would be a great time to discuss jewelry for the beach! Or a cruise, or just an outdoor party.
So, for a few days, we'll be looking at handmade jewelry that inspires you and makes you want (or think) you're at the beach. I don't know about you, but I ENJOY going to the beach. I was born and raised in Greenville, SC and we always went to Myrtle Beach, SC. It's about 4.5 to 5 hours away. I guess we could have gone to Charleston, SC (about 3 hours away), but our family just liked Myrtle Beach. Today, we like to stay at Garden City Beach, SC (about 20 minutes from Myrtle).
When I go there, I try to pack lightly: bathing suit, coverup, shorts, lounge wear, and shopping/eat attire. Jewelry? Very simply, but VERY unique. I stash my jewelry in a little black bag where it is safe and secure in my luggage. I might only take one or two styles of jewelry, but it goes with everything I'll be wearing.
Today, we're looking at a lovely, hand beaded necklace made of blue glass beads, river shell beads, and some sparkly Swarovski crystal beads. It's simple, yet has that dazzling touch to it! It just goes with a lot of items, but still makes a pretty statement. What do you think?
