For the past few days, we have looked at some vintage jewelry that I consider tribal-inspired. Today, we take a look at a necklace that I designed and handmade.
This necklace is part of the Motu Lahi collection. Each collection I design comes from being inspired from nature and/or a place I have travelled to. When I look at this necklace, it reminds me of the ocean and paradise. The detail is very unique and the colours coordinate nicely with each other. So, why do I think it is tribal-inspired? Well, the way the Asian mussel shells dangle and make a tinkling sound... or, the copper colour mixed with the gunmetal colour...
It's just a beautiful, stylish necklace that lays nicely on the neck. I have also designed two different styles of earrings (depending on how daring you are!) and a memory wire bracelet.
